Our yoga classes consist of personal practice, group practice and guided relaxation. Personal Practice is where you will be given your individualised sequence to go through. During this time, you will have a brief catch up with Samantha or with our lovely instructors; to see how you are feeling and if you have any questions regarding your practice or the class. There may be days when you are feeling energetic and mobile or quite the opposite. Samantha will vary your personal practice to suit your body’s needs.
The group practice contains a series of asanas (postures) that link the breath with the movement. Classes are tailored to your needs with a variety of options available throughout the class; whether you are a beginner through to an experienced yoga student. Props are available to assist you, such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and belts. The class concludes with a guided relaxation. Guided relaxation is a highly sought part of the class as it allows time for the body and mind to assimilate the effects of the asanas.
