This workshop is focused on mindfulness movement, through a series of yoga postures, combined with breathing techniques to help still and calm the mind. This is a perfect alternative to seated meditation.
Through awareness, we begin to be mindful of our actions and thoughts. This process of mindfulness can be incorporated into your daily practice.
How mindfulness movement helps Umi: "When focusing solely on the breath with movement, it brings me back into my body and brings about awareness of sensations within, which I found very grounding".
