Our workshop on Inversions for Beginners focuses on shouldstand, forearm balance and handstands. Sam will help you by gaining confidence so you can benefit from these poses. Inversions help to stimulate our system boosting your energy, which can contribute to reducing levels of stress.

Happy New Year. And together, let's make this year our year. This January I will be holding a workshop each week a Tree Pose Yoga Studio. Workshops are great way to deepen your yoga practice; both physically and mentally. Yoga for Hot Weather
The last couple of days have been very warm, especially for Spring. I take this into consideration in today's class. I focus on gentle flow, warming up the legs and shoulders. This flow practice prepares you for a yin style session (holding the poses for 1 to 3 mins) to release the deep tissue of the hips and hamstrings, called the 'fascia'. This practice is great if you are low on energy, or stuck in the heat and just in need of gentle stretches through the hips and hamstrings.
